For Næsby Maskinfabrik A/S (NMF) from Odense in Denmark an establishment in China was necessary.
The preliminary study gave a clear answer to the questions regarding the establishment of production in China. The results show that the large customers actually require this.
After visiting several facilities, NMF chose the Nordic Industrial Park (NIP) in Ningbo, located south of Shanghai. This occurred in April 2010 and now the company produces components for wind turbines in place and has achieved positive operating results.
To be able to produce, sell and export to the Chinese market NMF was registered both as a Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprise (WFOE) and Foreign Invested Commercial Enterprise (FICE).
